East Lancashire West Yorkshire Boat Club, has been and operating at Salterforth since 1965 but as these black and white photographs show a boat yard of some significance existed here many years earlier, with actual boat building and launching, taking place.
60s Themed Party
Steve Scaife, the clubs longest serving member, did ELWY proud by cutting the 60th Diamond Jubilee Celebration cake, thank you Steve for all those loyal years of serving and helping ELWY be successful into what it has flourished into, today.
And a special piece of Diamond Jubilee Celebration 60th Cake for Peter our very talented singer and what an entertaining evening of songs he performed for the party.
